The Moment and Transformation

What does it mean to truly trust God when life falls apart around us? The story of Lazarus in John 11 pulls us into one of the most profound questions of faith: where is God when tragedy strikes? Rather than offering easy answers, this message invites us to shift the question entirely. Instead of asking why suffering happens, we are challenged to ask what God is doing in the midst of it. The raising of Lazarus is not simply a miraculous event from the past. It is a living declaration that resurrection is not something we wait for at the end of time. It is available to us here and now, in the middle of our grief, our loss, our confusion, and our pain. God does not respond to pressure or panic. God moves with purpose and at the right time, and our call is to develop the discernment to recognize that movement when it comes. This message reminds us that death, in all its forms, never has the final word.
