We make Growing Spiritually a Priority
Discipleship at University City UMC is tied to our Core Value of Committed to Growing in Christ which means we make growing spiritually a priority and it is something we purposefully seek to do.
As we seek to Grow in Christ, we believe there are some things that should be evident in the life of every believer…some Marks of Discipleship.
Click here to download the UCUMC Discipleship Assessment. As stated in the Marks of Discipleship, we believe that a Disciple of Jesus Professes, Practices and Produces certain things in their life. This tool will help you assess some key areas in your life. It will also help us as a church to have a better understanding of small groups and classes we can offer to help people grow in these areas.
We would love to talk with you about how to help your child (ages 3-5th grade) get connected here at UCUMC and grow in their faith. We also have a wonderful nursery (2 and under) that is staffed by paid workers and volunteers and is led by Laura Jones our Nursery Coordinator. Click Here to email Natalie Whitley for more information about our Children's Ministry.
Palmer Dill is our Director of Youth Ministries. Please contact him to find out more about FUSION and how your teenager (grades 6-12) can be involved here at UCUMC and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Click Here to email Palmer.
Rene Wilt oversees our Small Groups. Please contact her to find out more about our small group opportunities here at UCUMC. There are MANY ways for you, as an adult, to connect, learn and grow in your faith journey and we want to do all we can to help you. Click Here to email Rene.
