English Second Language Tutoring

University City UMC, in partnership with David Cox Elementary School, has a growing ESL tutor program for the parents of their ESL students.  Tutors are matched with a parent and meet weekly to help them read and speak our language. 

Want to know more? Contrary to popular belief, you DO NOT need to know a foreign language to be a tutor. You DO NOT need to be a professional teacher. You DO NOT need to spend hours preparing lessons. You DO need to speak English. You DO need to be friendly.
